Who we are
The TheTrendTutor mobile app (Android package com.thetrendtutor.app, also on iOS) is developed and published by Seyid Mahmut Candan (TheTrendTutor). Contact: contact@thetrendtutor.com. The thetrendtutor.com website has its own Privacy Policy.
Summary
- No account, no sign-up and no login.
- No ads, and no analytics, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs.
- The app asks for no device permissions (no location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos).
- We do not sell or share your data.
Data stored on your device
If you choose a language in the app, the choice is saved only on your device (app storage). Deleting the app or its data removes it.
Data the app loads
The app downloads prices, news, the economic calendar and other public data from thetrendtutor.com (read-only, no key). Like any internet request, this sends your IP address and basic technical data (for example app and device type) to our server, delivered through Cloudflare. We use them only to deliver the data and protect the service against attacks. Our server keeps only short technical logs, which are rotated automatically, and does not build profiles of users.
Live stream and videos
The Live tab embeds YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and does not play automatically. When you play a video, YouTube (Google) processes data under Google's privacy policy. Buttons that open YouTube, X, Telegram, TikTok, Twitch or TradingView take you to those apps or sites, which have their own privacy policies.
If you email us at contact@thetrendtutor.com, we use your message and address only to read and answer it, and we do not share it.
Email briefing and alerts
The app itself has no newsletter or notification sign-up. If you subscribed to the 5-Minute Briefing email or browser alerts on thetrendtutor.com, that is covered by the Privacy Policy, and you can remove it as described on TheTrendTutor app – Data deletion.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Turkish KVKK you can ask for access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you and object to its processing. We answer within 30 days at the latest. You can also complain to a data protection authority.
